Transport facilities for the New Year's eve party in the Silesian Park

Changes in the urban transport functioning consist in the introduction of special timetables on the 31^st of December and 1^st of January and for passengers this means an increased number of connections and the use of bigger than usually vehicles on individual lines. 

Facilities in the bus transport 

Lines 138, 190, and 674 will have an increased frequency, during the night on lines  7N, 297N, 672, 840N, and M101 bigger buses will be operating, while on lines M1, M2, M3, M4, M28, and 1N facilities will be introduced both in the form of larger number of journeys, and the operation of bigger vehicles. 

At the same time the ZTM reminds, that the nearest bus stops at the Silesian Park are Chorzów AKS, Osiedle Tysiąclecia Ośrodek Rehabilitacji, Osiedle Tysiąclecia Ułańska, and Osiedle Tysiąclecia Pawilon. 

Facilities in the tram transport 

Special timetables and additional journeys will be introduced on lines 0, 6, 11, 15, 23, and 26. Because of changes, the frequency of trams operation on the Katowice Rynek - Chorzów Stadion Śląski section during the transport rush hours before the concert will be approx. 3 minutes, and afterwards approx. 2 minutes.  

For the tram transport the nearest stops at the Silesian Park are Park Śląski Wejście Główne, Chorzów Stadion Śląski, and Chorzów Stadion Śląski Pętla Zachodnia.
