Nikiszowiec will turn into a movie set
One of the most famous Katowice districts will be London from the 1940s during two days of October. It is thanks to the film crew that will be there to make scenes for their latest production. For ZTM passengers, however, this means changes on the bus lines that run through Nikiszowiec.
Filmmakers, producing the movie 'Death of the Zygielbojm', chose this extraordinary district of Katowice for a movie set not without a reason. It is supposed to imitate a large European capital. For the purposes of taking photos on October 7 and 9, 2019 (Monday and Wednesday), between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Krawczyka Street and Wyzwolenia Square, located in the Katowice district of Nikiszowiec, will be turned off for traffic and public transport.
Thus, within the above date, a diversion for buses of the following lines will apply: 72, 108, 109, 292, 695, 920, 930. It will consist of a two-way crossing of ul. Nałkowska with the support of the Nikiszowiec Church stop in locations:
- in the direction of Giszowiec, at Nałkowska Street (next to the ice rink),
- towards Szopienice, at Wyzwolenia Square, area of the Zillmann Park.
Inhabitants and guests of the Upper Silesia and Zagłębie Metropolis are invited to follow the actions of the film crew and ZTM passengers are asked to take into account the aforementioned changes in travel planning.
Prace serwisowe tablic SDIP
W nocy z 28 na 29 kwietnia w godzinach 0:00 - 3:00 przeprowadzone zostaną prace serwisowe elektronicznych tablic Systemu Dynamicznej Informacji pasażerskiej. Oznacza to, że urządzenia tymczasowo nie będą wyświetlać godzin odjazdów autobusów, tramwajów i trolejbusów.
Biegowy weekend i zmiany w komunikacji miejskiej
W czterech miastach Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowskiej Metropolii w najbliższy weekend odbędą się biegi. W związku z czasowymi zmianami w organizacji ruchu drogowego, Zarząd Transportu Metropolitalnego wprowadzi modyfikacje w kursowaniu autobusów i tramwajów. Pasażerowie powinni wcześniej zapoznać się ze szczegółami zmian, aby uniknąć zaskoczeń w podróży.
