New interchange center in Knurów-Szczygłowice

In October, the completion of the interchange center in Szczygłowice is planned. This means introducing a new traffic organization in the area and changing timetables. The modifications apply to several bus lines.

On Monday, October 21, 2019 the construction of the interchange center in Knurów - Szczygłowice is planned to be completed. Due to this, the timetables of lines no. 47, 120, 194, 194N, 195, 236 and 710 will be changed.

Routes will be lengthened and shortened, stops from selected lines will be excluded or the stops will be completely liquidated. Corrections will be made to the departure times of individual lines to improve the coordination of courses and to improve the implementation of interchange connections. Access from Leszczyn and Pilchowice via lines no. 195 and 236 to the "Szczygłowice" mine will be possible via the interchange system.

At the same time, the name of the Knurów Cegielnia stop will be implemented to Knurów Kosmonautów and the type of the following stops will change from permanent to 'on demand':

a) Szczygłowice Skrzyżowanie,

b) Krywałd Stadion,

c) Krywałd Zwycięstwa,

d) Krywałd Przejazd Kolejowy.
