During the summer we organized lessons for hundreds of children
Employees of ZTM in cooperation with the company Tramwaje Śląskie SA organized the summer communication lessons for children who participated in the day camps in the cities of the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis (GZM). Education and fun evoked many positive emotions among the youngest.
Classes were organized at two tram depots – in Katowice-Zawodzie and Chorzów-Batory. They were held once a week from July 1 to August 31. In addition, on August 7, classes were organized specifically for the children of ZTM and TŚ employees, in which 29 people participated.
Through fun, we wanted to teach the youngest children how to communicate properly and encourage them to travel by public transport. As part of these meetings, which each lasted about 2.5 hours, in addition to substantive classes in the form of discussions and presentations, participants could also visit the depot, where a TŚ employee eagerly said about the specifics of his work. You could see with your own eyes how the technical service of trams looks like in the practice and learn interesting some facts from the motorman's work
