Timetable of line 610 adapted to pupils needs

At the request of the Knurów City Office the timetable of line 610 will change. As a result of changes the pupils will be able to get to schools more efficiently, and after the lessons - to come back home faster
The minibus line 610 has been operating in Knurów from December last year. Sixteen new stops were then created in the city and the line’s route covered the areas, which were not reached by vehicles of the urban transport.
At the request of the Knurów City Office a new timetable of line 610 will be introduced on the 6th of March (Monday), which has been prepared in such a way as to make the commuting to four Knurów schools more efficient: the Karol Miarka Municipal Primary School No 2 with Integration Classes, the Queen Jadwiga Municipal Primary School No 6 in the School and Kindergarten Complex No 3, Municipal Primary School No 7, the Maria Konopnicka Municipal Primary School No 9.
The new timetable enables transfers on the Knurów Wojska Polskiego and Knurów Centrum Przesiadkowe stops towards Szygłowice, Gliwice, Gierałtowice, Zabrze, Ruda Śląska, and Katowice, which is particularly important for pupils from outside Knurów.

Rekord po pandemii. Ponad 41 mln biletów sprzedanych w Transport GZM
W 2025 r. Zarząd Transportu Metropolitalnego sprzedał ponad 41,2 mln biletów. Lepszy wynik odnotowano wyłącznie w 2019 r., czyli przed pandemią COVID-19. Z rocznego podsumowania sprzedaży wynika również, że coraz większą popularność wśród pasażerów zyskują nowoczesne rozwiązania sprzedażowe.
Autobusy wracają pod wiadukt przy ul. Mikołowskiej
Częściowe przywrócenie przejazdu pod wiaduktem kolejowym przy ul. Mikołowskiej w Katowicach oznacza istotne zmiany w funkcjonowaniu komunikacji miejskiej. Obejmą one około 50 linii autobusowych i zaczną obowiązywać od 23 stycznia 2026 r.
