The Metropolitan Transport Authority (ZTM) will transport free of charge to the opening of Rynek in Chorzów

The weekend of 28-30 June will be a great feast for Chorzów. Numerous attractions, shows and concerts will be organised on the occasion of Rynek opening after long-awaited reconstruction. Participants can travel to the venue free of charge by the ZTM transport.

An official opening of the Chorzów Rynek will last during the whole weekend. The City of Chorzów in cooperation with the Metropolitan Transport Authority decided to introduce free trips on two tram lines. Line No 11 (on 28 and 29 June) and 23 (on 29 and 30 June) will transport to the event venue. In addition, the route of tram line No 23 will be changed and the line will be served by historical trams of 13N and N+4ND type (with ensured conductor service). Special timetables of tram No 23 will be valid on 29 - 30 June (Saturday - Sunday), on the route: Katowice Plac Wolności – Katowice Rondo – Chorzów Stadion Śląski – Chorzów Rynek – Chorzów Batory Zajezdnia.

Od 1 września 2026 r. bilety z oferty Transport GZM nie będą już dostępne w aplikacji mPay. Sprzedaż elektronicznych biletów jednorazowych będzie dalej prowadzona w pozostałych aplikacjach zewnętrznych (SkyCash, moBILET, zBiletem oraz Jakdojade).
