ZTM TRANSPORT FREE OF CHARGE DURING THE SILESIAN SCIENCE FESTIVAL
From the 9th to 11th of December it will be possible to use all the bus, tram, and trolleybus connections for free. It is enough to download a special coupon, which will enable the holder to go there and back for lectures, workshops, and other attractions of the event, including a special mobility stand.
The Silesian Science Festival (SFN) approaches, which will take place in the Spodek and in the International Congress Centre in Katowice. The programme prepared for the participants includes exhibitions, lectures, scientific demonstrations, debates: Visualisation of the Festival Programme | Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE (slaskifestiwalnauki.pl).
To facilitate getting to and back from the SFN, from the 9th to 11th of December passengers will be able to enjoy free rides by all ZTM buses, trams, and trolleybuses. It is enough to download a coupon from the website of the Upper-Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis: SFN_kupon_ZTM (metropoliagzm.pl) and present it during a tickets inspection.
In addition, on the 11th of December we invite to the mobility stand, which will be very easy to find, because yellow Metrobikes will be parked nearby, as well as an electric bus Solaris Urbino 12.
Dodatkowe kursy na Fajer Festiwal
Uczestnicy Fajer Festiwalu będą mogli skorzystać z dodatkowej oferty Transport GZM. Uruchomiona zostanie specjalna linia tramwajowa S, która ułatwi powroty z koncertów odbywających się na promenadzie Superauto.pl Stadionu Śląskiego w Chorzowie. Kursy będą realizowane od ok. godz. 1 do ok. godz. 2 przez trzy noce najbliższego weekendu.
Mikołowska w obu kierunkach. Duże zmiany dla pasażerów w Katowicach
Od poniedziałku 31 sierpnia 2026 r. autobusy Transport GZM będą przejeżdżać pod wiaduktem przy ul. Mikołowskiej w Katowicach nie tylko w kierunku północnej części miasta, ale również w kierunku południowym. Dla pasażerów oznacza to wprowadzenie licznych zmian tras i rozkładów jazdy.
