Job offers for young specialists. An open day of the Silesia University of technology
During the Open Day and the Day with Employer, organised by the Silesian University of Technology, the representatives of the ZTM told to secondary school graduates and students about the secrets of the work at the transport organiser and about the development possibilities. The young graduates of transport, engineering, and logistics learned, inter alia, where the job offers at the ZTM should be sought, and how to use the traineeships and training courses.
The employers met the secondary school graduates and students at the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Katowice. The Open Day and the Day with the Employer provided opportunities to talk about the work in the authority organising the transport in the area of more than 50 municipalities. Students of engineering, transport, and logistics learned, inter alia, where they could look for the job offers at the ZTM and what are the benefits of working there. In turn, the secondary school graduates were encouraged to file applications for free traineeships and training courses, which allow to turn the theoretical knowledge into concrete benefits for the residents.
Apart from the ZTM, the yesterday Open Day and the Day with the Employer was attended by, among others, the PKP Cargo, Tramwaje Śląskie, and Koleje Śląskie.
