THE TRANSFER FROM THE ŚKUP SYSTEM TO THE TRANSPORT GZM. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PASSENGERS [UPDATE: 29 SEPTEMBER; 12:55 HOURS]

Publication date: 26.09.2023

The ŚKUP system will be switched off on the 28th of September, but the work related to the transfer to the new Transport GZM System is already ongoing. This means that certain solutions and sales channels, like ticket machines, the Dynamic Passenger Information System (SDIP), and validators will not be available, or their functionalities will be limited.

The 27th of September is the last day of conducting transactions in the ŚKUP system. After that date it will not be possible to make cash-free payments on the Customer Portal, at Passenger Service Points, and in the Mobile ŚKUP Application, and also the cash payments in kiosks and at Passenger Service Points will be switched off.

The ŚKUP system will be switched off on the 28th of September. From that date the passengers will not be able to use the distance tariff, and also the single-ride tickets and multi-ride tickets saved on the ŚKUP card. At that time also the possibility of buying and encoding e-tickets saved on the ŚKUP card will be switched off, both at points of sales, Passenger Service Points, ticket machines, on the ŚKUP Customer Portal, and in the ‘Mobile ŚKUP’ application. Instead, the passengers will be able to buy tickets in the Transport GZM system, and also, additionally, at POPs it will be possible to purchase 30-day paper tickets (both forms of payment will be available, both in cash and cash-free).

During that period, we encourage to purchase electronic tickets (via mobile applications, including the Transport GZM already available to passengers, or via the Transportgzm.pl portal) and paper tickets.

The SDIP displays, which are situated at stops, from the 28th of September will be showing the timetable arrival times of buses, trams, and trolleybuses (they will not present the actual departure times), and from the 30th of September they will not be displaying messages about the cancelled journeys, if any.

The paper tickets at ticket machines with the ŚKUP system will be sold for cash till the 30th of September. The functions will be started under the Transport GZM system from the 1st of October.

We encourage the passengers to follow the www.transportgzm.pl website, where the operation of the new system has been described as well as stages of the transfer from the ŚKUP to the Transport GZM. The hotline consultants are also ready to provide assistance, working round-the-clock at the number: 800 16 30 30.
