We invite for a travel in time by historical trams form the 1950-S
Till the 24th of September passengers can use a Tourist Tram Line 23, which travels between the Katowice Zawodzie Zajezdnia and Chorzów Stadion Śląski Pętla Zachodnia stops. By historical wagons from the 1950s you can travel on Sundays and holidays.
Together with the Tramwaje Śląskie and the Urban Transport Enthusiasts Club, we have prepared a real treat for the fans of transport. Without special tickets, based on the ZTM Transport Tariff, you can travel by historical wagons from the 1950s: a power car, type N No 1100, dating back to 1953, and a trailer car, type ND No 1263, made in 1959.
In the historical wagons the guards take care of the safety and comfort, and they are authorised to carry out ticket inspections. The guards also give out limited memorial tickets.
Apart from the aforementioned trams the passengers can also use historical wagons 13N and 105N, which serve line 23 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, as well as modern low-floor wagons. Such a diversity of the rolling stock will make rides more attractive for passengers, in particular to the Silesian Park, which during the summer holidays enjoys popularity.
To check, which journey is served by historical vehicles, it is enough to enter the rj.metropoliaztm.pl website, select tram line 23, and the stop and time of the journey, in which we are interested.

Zarząd Transportu Metropolitalnego uruchamia pilotaż trzeciej wersji portalu Systemu Dynamicznej Informacji Pasażerskiej. To kolejny krok w pracach nad rozwiązaniem, które w jednym miejscu będzie łączyć informacje o różnych środkach transportu – nie tylko autobusach, tramwajach i trolejbusach, ale również pociągach i Metrorowerze. Przy tworzeniu nowego portalu wykorzystano narzędzia sztucznej inteligencji. ZTM zachęca pasażerów do przesyłania uwag i sugestii dotyczących jego funkcjonowania.
